TrackGirlz is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by Mechelle Lewis Freeman, Olympian, world champion and former Team USA women's relays coach. We give girls equitable access to track and field, plus the mentorship and higher-education pathways that come with it.
We train, mentor and invest in girls from communities across the country and around the world, giving them the tools to grow as athletes, students and leaders. Track and field is bigger than running fast. It builds confidence, discipline and a sisterhood that lasts.

We put girls on the track with Olympians and elite coaches, training side by side to build speed, strength and self-belief.
BRAVEUP is our standard. At the heart of the work we do is a researched-based personal development curriculum for middle and high school girls: Boldness, Resilience, Authenticity, Vision, Excellence, Unity and Poise. We bring each value to life for every girl to thrive in sport, school, and life.
We can use this grant in so many ways… one airline ticket can change the life of one girl.
